Difference between Static vs Dynamic websites

If you like having a website, it is significant that you recognize that there are two different types of websites: static and dynamic. I can explain to you the differences between the two. You must have a great wittingly of both so that you can choose clearly which website is best for you.
Static Websites:
A static site is a website that is written completely by HTML. Each web page is a divide document and there are no databases or external files that are drawn upon.
This indicates that the only way to edit this type of website is to go into every page and edit the HTML. So you might need to do it yourself utilizing a web page editor such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver, or pay your web developer to make updates for you.
Advantages of static websites:
  • Rapid to develop.
  • Low Cost to develop.
  • Low Cost to host.
Disadvantages of a static website:
  • Requires web development skills in order to update the site.
  • Website not as useful to the user.
  • Content can become outdated.
Dynamic Websites:
A dynamic site is written by more difficult code such as PHP or ASP and has a great level of functionality. For example, more dynamic websites can be regulated by a Content Management System (CMS). This indicates that you can plausibly make updates without requiring any knowledge of HTML or any website software.
Every page of a dynamic site is generated from qualified information stored in a database or external file. And the CMS that you may use to maintain your website directly changes this stored information.
Advantages of a dynamic website:
  • Very easy to update.
  • A highly functional website.
  • New content draws visitors back to the site and helps in search engine ranking.
  • More than one user can develop or work on the site.
Disadvantages of a dynamic website:
  • Slower to develop.
  • High cost to develop.
  • High cost to host.
If you are a small business or when the services or products you offer are few, a static website can be best suited for you. But, if you have many products or services and you want to allow your site visitors to be able to search, a dynamic website is best.
